Amsterdam

The first leg of the trip was uneventful although it seemed like people were going places, lots of people going lots of places. The plane was full and when we arrived early, had to wait for a gate to clear for us. Other than that...we are in good shape so far and looking forward to the next half of the trip which will land us in Ghana where our friends in Rotary will be waiting.

While I have a moment I would like to do a shout out to the individual Rotary Clubs that participated in the grant:

Austin Rotary Club
Albert Lea Rotary Club
Greater Rochester Rotary Club
Hudson Daybreak
New Brighton Mounds View
Owatonna Rotary Club
Owatonna Early Edition
Rochester Rotary Club
Rochester Risers
White Bear Lake Rotary Club

And...to the clubs that made this possible by supporting the first Phase:

Austin Rotary Club
Fridley Columbia Heights
New Brighton Mounds View
Stillwater Sunrise Rotary Club
and...our friends, the Ojai Rotary Club

Special thanks to our Mentors:

Jim Hunt (Phase 1)
Margie Horning (Phase 2)
The District Grants Sub-Committee...special kudos
and...to Rotary District 5960.

So many others have supported this endeavor especially our friends and family...thank you all for helping us live "Peace Through Service"

Kathy
